PawsAI Health is NOT a veterinary service. It does NOT provide veterinary diagnosis, medical advice, or treatment. All results are AI-generated informational assessments for educational purposes only. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any health concerns about your pet. In an emergency, contact a veterinary clinic or emergency animal hospital immediately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PawsAI Health ("Service", "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to bind yourself to these Terms.
3. Description of Service
PawsAI Health provides AI-powered pet health triage assessments. The Service:

Accepts photos and information about your pet
•
Uses artificial intelligence to generate informational triage guidance (green/yellow/red)
•
Provides general home care suggestions for non-emergency situations
•
Is intended as a supplementary tool for pet owners, NOT as a replacement for veterinary care
The Service does not establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) of any kind.
4. Medical and Veterinary Disclaimer
THE AI-GENERATED ASSESSMENTS PROVIDED BY THIS SERVICE ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE VETERINARY ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.
You acknowledge and agree that:

AI triage results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific pet's situation
•
No AI system can replace the judgement of a qualified, licensed veterinarian who has physically examined your pet
•
You will always consult a licensed veterinarian for actual medical decisions affecting your pet
•
In any situation involving potential risk to your pet's health, you will seek professional veterinary care without delay
•
PawsAI Health bears no liability for any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated assessments
5. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
•
Upload images that do not depict pets, or that contain illegal, obscene, or harmful content
•
Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or circumvent any part of the Service
•
Create multiple accounts to circumvent free scan limits
•
Share your account with others or allow unauthorised third parties to access the Service through your account
•
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
•
Misrepresent AI-generated results as professional veterinary advice
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Free Plan: 5 scans per calendar month at no charge. Free scans reset on the first day of each month.
Premium Plan: Where available, premium subscriptions are offered at advertised rates. Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing period.
Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund on premium subscriptions if you have not used more than 2 paid scans during that period. Contact Pawsaihealth@gmail.com for refund requests.
Price Changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and technology comprising the Service — including but not limited to the AI models, user interface, algorithms, trade names, and branding — is owned by or licensed to PawsAI Health and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and store them solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) €50 EUR
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PawsAI Health, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
•
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
•
Your infringement of any third-party rights
•
Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Sign Out and contacting Pawsaihealth@gmail.com to request full account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or to PawsAI Health.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
For users in the European Union: These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under EU or national law.
For users outside the EU: These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PawsAI Health is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes: We encourage you to contact us first at Pawsaihealth@gmail.com to resolve disputes amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of your country of residence (EU) or our jurisdiction (outside EU).
EU Online Dispute Resolution: EU residents may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
